WHY ACES?

- There are many high school students who intend to attend Montgomery College and are not 
enrolling.


- There is an increase in the number of students in MCPS who are academically qualified but at risk 
of not persisting in college.


- Maryland goal: by 2025 become the first state in the country with 55% of its population achieving 
a degree
beyond high school.
